The predicted salary is between 28350 - 34650 Β£ per year.
Repairs & Investment are looking to recruit a Planner to work within our System and Scheduling Team. You will be joining a team of planners, and your duties will include:
- To allocate appointments for unallocated works orders and re-appoint incomplete orders.
- To actively monitor and manage the diary of the trade operatives and staff to ensure work is picked up and progressed during the day.
- To record unavailability and absence and reallocate work as appropriate.
- To assess the availability of resources against the demand for appointments.
- Delivery of all programmes within agreed timescales and ensure that all appointments are completed on a daily basis.
- Ensure the delivery of the Repairs Service is smooth and efficient.
As a planner you will need:
- A customer orientated approach, ensuring best value for money is achieved in the delivery of the works.
- Excellent observational skills and reacting to information as presented.
- A good knowledge of the construction industry, including materials, trades, building methods.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiating skills.
- Excellent IT skills and experience of planning ordering and scheduling systems.
- The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels.
- A good knowledge of the building maintenance industry.
- The skills and abilities required to deal with conflicting demands and timescales, whilst maintaining good relationships with team members.
