Responsibilities
- Lead a Talented Team: Inspire and guide a multiâdisciplinary surveying team to achieve outstanding residentâfocused outcomes.
- Drive Service Excellence: Drive high standards and ensure operations comply with existing legislation and embed any new legislative measures into the team's dayâtoâday operations.
- Manage Operations: Identifying, assessing, and providing recommendations for addressing damp, mould and condensation (DMC) issues in Council properties across the borough.
- Innovate and Improve: Providing leadership and direction for the DMC team on technical matters and facilitating excellent customer service to residents.
- Budget Management: Taking an active, crossâorganisational approach to tackling complex DMC cases by engaging with multiâdisciplinary groups and manage budgets to ensure costâeffective operations and value for money.
Person Specification
- Hold a relevant professional qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and evaluate options and produce planned works programmes and specifications.
- Solid experience in inspecting and assessing damp and mould issues.
- Experience in monitoring risks and Health and Safety in relation to responsive repairs.
- Proven ability to lead a highâperforming, multiâdisciplined teams to ensure high safety standards, excellent service delivery, and sound financial outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing a team, motivating to deliver high standards of performance and delivery.
