The Royal Greenwich Educational Psychology & Wellbeing Service (EPWS) is seeking reflective, creative Educational Psychologists to join our supportive, ambitious and friendly team. You’ll be working alongside EPs, trainee EPs, assistant EPs, counsellors and specialist practitioners who are committed to ensuring that children and young people are at the heart of everything we do.
Our thriving traded service combines the stability of a local authority with opportunities to deliver preventative, systemic and innovative work. We work within a consultation model, valuing diverse psychological approaches and prioritising child and family‑centred practice. Opportunities include involvement in:
- ELSA and MeLSA
- Video Interaction Guidance (VIG)
- Multi-family group work
- Training, supervision and coaching
- Organisational and systems consultancy
We are particularly excited to be developing and piloting our ‘Expert at Hand’ offer – an innovative approach providing timely, accessible psychological support at the point of need. You will play a key role in shaping, delivering and evaluating this emerging model. EPWS plays a key role in the borough’s wellbeing strategy, with opportunities to work alongside:
- Virtual School
- Early Years Inclusion
- Inclusion Service
- Youth Justice Service
- Family Hubs (including parent–infant work)
