Parks Gardeners Royal Greenwich is home to incredible parks and green spaces, many awarded the Green Flag. We value these spaces and take pride in maintaining them to a high standard for the benefit and enjoyment of all. We are seeking experienced grounds maintenance staff with knowledge in horticulture and the use/upkeep of relevant machinery, and who are familiar with working with the public.

Responsibilities

  • Flower bed and shrub bed maintenance
  • Lawn maintenance and mowing
  • Brush cutting
  • General grounds maintenance of park sites across the Borough using the provided tools and equipment
  • Ensure the safety of the public and the workforce

Qualifications

  • Experience in all aspects of general horticulture
  • Familiarity with relevant machinery and safe operation
  • Full driving licence (advantage)
  • Recognised horticultural certificates (advantage)
