Royal Greenwich Borough is investing heavily in digital services and has launched its first digital strategy. This role is part of the Product team in Digital and Customer Services, focused on improving services for residents and building a truly digital borough.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and assist multidisciplinary teams to identify problems in services and products and design and implement appropriate solutions, both in‑house and with third‑party suppliers.
- Work closely with council service teams to translate user pain points and stakeholder priorities into clearly defined problems, analyse findings and recommend products and outcomes that deliver better services for residents and staff.
- Visualise service journeys, map current and future state processes, use data to quantify problems and model the impact on residents and the council, and project benefits to prioritise the most impactful areas.
- Report to a Senior Business Analyst and contribute to the Business Analysis Community of Practice, while working cross‑functionally to develop product practices and codify ways of working.

- Providing wrap‑around support for residents to tackle poverty

- Employing AI and automation to enhance council services

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience leading work in multidisciplinary teams and taking responsibility for analysis throughout the product and service transformation lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, user‑centred, data‑driven ability to understand root causes, document, communicate and source appropriate solutions.
- Deep knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and appropriate applications. Ability to synthesise information and develop actionable insights.
- Demonstrable knowledge of modelling and measuring the financial and non‑financial impact of products, services and proposed changes, and ability to monitor outcomes post‑implementation.
- Passion for developing skills, supporting others and contributing to the Business Analysis Community of Practice.
