Medical Director

Job Overview:

We are searching for a Consultant Psychiatrist & Medical Director to join our clients service in Kidsgrove. This full-time role is split into 0.2 WTE as Medical Director and 0.8 WTE as Consultant Psychiatrist, offering a unique opportunity to lead a brand new specialist mental health hospital for women and a Highly Specialised Personality Disorder service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical practice with a focus on operational excellence and high-quality care
• Oversee service compliance with internal and external standards
• Provide expert guidance, mentorship, and training to a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate to deliver integrated, whole-person care

Qualifications:

• Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification and on the specialist register (CCT/CESR)
• Section 12, AC status, and membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent
• Proven experience in adult psychiatry, clinical governance, and leadership (enhanced DBS check required)
