Overview
Our retained recruitment partner is looking to appoint a Clinical Home Manager for one of their small-sized nursing homes in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a stable, well-supported service with strong infrastructure behind you, while still having the autonomy to lead, grow occupancy, and shape the culture of the home.
The Role
As Home Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while driving performance across the home. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team across nursing, care, and support functions, creating a positive environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational leadership of the home (care, clinical, staffing & compliance)
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Nurses, Carers & department heads
- Drive occupancy and support local marketing/referral activity
- Ensure high standards of care, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance
- Manage budgets and ensure the service operates efficiently
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals & stakeholders
- Support staff development, supervision, and succession planning
What We’re Looking For
- An active NMC pin
- Experienced Home Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up)
- Longevity in previous roles
- Background in nursing and/or dementia care
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- Commercial awareness (occupancy, budgets, performance)
- Confident leader with the ability to build and retain strong teams
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
