What is the opportunity?
RBC are looking for a Vice President or Associate to support the management and optimization of RBC's rates electronic trading platforms. This role works directly with trading, sales, and clients to drive platform adoption, monitor business performance, and coordinate platform enhancements and new functionality releases.
What will you do?
- Support trading and sales teams and work directly with clients to ensure correct platform access and optimal user experience.
- Monitor platform hit rates and client response metrics; coordinate with the desk on tiering adjustments and optimization strategies to improve market share.
- Coordinate new platform functionality and product releases, including go-lives, requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and regulatory change implementation.
- Review quarterly platform rankings, identify client gaps and response rate trends, and work with the desk to develop targeted improvement initiatives and marketing materials.
- Maintain and develop RBC's client and venue relationships to support franchise growth.
- Identify and escalate process and technology gaps to relevant team heads, making recommendations to strengthen controls and operational effectiveness.
- Support IT enhancements and technology initiatives within the e-trading space.

- Must Have
- Experience in Fixed Income Electronic Trading Solutions with understanding of interest rate products (cash & derivatives).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to monitor metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across trading, sales, clients, and technology teams.
- Familiarity with major electronic trading platforms (Tradeweb, Bloomberg, MarketAxess).
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and manage project timelines.
- Relevant experience in fixed income or e-trading.
