We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Business Analyst and Business Systems Analyst to join our Capital Markets CBOS IT team. This role will bridge business requirements and technical implementation, supporting critical settlement infrastructure programs while ensuring operational excellence across Fixed Income and Equities platforms. The successful candidate will combine deep domain expertise in capital markets settlement with technical proficiency and analytical acumen, working collaboratively with development teams to deliver mission‑critical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in capital markets settlement operations, particularly for Fixed Income and Equities asset classes.
  • Define and refine technical requirements specifications for software development teams.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Contribute to delivery of transformational programs including European T+1 settlement implementation and US Treasury Clearing mandate initiatives.
  • Evaluate AI and machine learning techniques to enhance settlement operations, including anomaly detection and process automation.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in capital markets operations with deep knowledge of Fixed Income and Equities settlement workflows and regulatory requirements, including MiFID II.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements management, or business consulting within technology environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, databases, and JIRA.
  • Experience with vendor evaluation, large‑scale program delivery, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with settlement systems architecture, data flows, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience with Gloss settlement platform and/or APEX application is required.
