What is the opportunity?
Join our dynamic Wealth Management Europe (WME) team and help shape the future of our products and services! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring seamless product development as we integrate WME offerings into our product risk tool. This is a chance to collaborate closely with product and risk experts, drive efficiency through innovation (including AI solutions!), and contribute to a culture of excellence. The primary purpose of this position is to support the comprehensive governance processes for all RBC WME products and services as they are integrated into the product tool. Based in our London office (4 days in office / 1 day Working from home minimum), this is a permanent, full-time position.
What will you do?
- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the New Business Committee
- Responsible for updating and maintaining records in the Product Tool which includes running and reviewing control reports
- Collaborate with product and risk owners by addressing any product governance queries, including those related to the population of the product tool
- Act as the key coordination point for the timely management of product governance processes, including setting up and running Q&A sessions, pipeline meetings, and addressing any ongoing queries related to products and services undergoing product reviews or amendments
- Assist the team in ongoing and new product governance projects
- Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing innovative processes, procedures, and controls
- Contribute to team projects, take ownership of initiatives, and help shape a risk framework that’s forward-thinking and inclusive.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Must have proven experience in Financial Services
- Experience in product governance processes, with good knowledge of wealth management products or relevant experience in product risk management or compliance
- Demonstrate confident and effective communication skills, engaging comfortably with stakeholders when discussing product governance items
- An understanding of the UK financial services principles and regulatory rules including Consumer Duty
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks
- Passion for technology-driven solutions (e.g., AI) to streamline processes
