The Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the ongoing management, governance, and reporting processes of the RCM (Regulatory Compliance Management) program for Europe across the two segments (CM & WM) and their lines of business in the region. The role will also oversee governance and reporting processes for other Asia Pacific RCM programs.
This position is full-time, requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with the option to work one day from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support European Compliance Teams and 1LOD with Control Standards and the 4 RCM pillars: Regulatory Content, Risk Assessments, Monitoring & Testing, and Issues Management.
- Maintain and update Regulatory Content inventories for European jurisdictions, including managing change requests.
- Assist in producing RCM Governance Committee materials, including presentations and meeting minutes.
- Develop insightful reporting and metrics.
- Facilitate training, answer questions, prepare reports, and liaise with Compliance teams across regions.
- Manage user access to Compliance tools and SharePoint.
- Collaborate with Europe & APAC Compliance teams for Quarterly CCO Opinion reporting.
Qualifications:
Must-have:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VBA, graphs, pivot tables, formulas).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for high-impact presentations.
- Strong delivery focus and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze large information sets and identify core issues.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and hands-on approach.
- Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in investment banking or wealth/asset management.
- Experience working with Compliance teams.
- Knowledge of European and UK regulatory environments.
- Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited university.
