The Chief Administration Office (CAO) supports the Wealth Management Europe (WME) business lines through three core principles: Protect, Sustain, and Grow. The Wealth Business Engagement Manager supports the Wealth Business Engagement Senior Manager and the Head of Business Engagement in achieving the strategic objectives set by the WME leadership team, by maintaining focus on efficiencies and actively seeking tools to innovate and improve capabilities within the Client Facing Teams (CFT).

We are looking for someone with good wealth management knowledge, who is diligent at identifying process or system gaps and finding innovative solutions. You will have strong stakeholder management experience, the ability to analyse data, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence others.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the office. Applicants can be based within a commutable distance to any of the RBC BD office network.

What will you do?

  • Represent the Business Engagement team in change projects/initiatives, data remediation, governance, business forums, and focused working groups.
  • Work with colleagues throughout the business to ensure system and process changes are implemented with due consideration of the requirements of CFT.
  • Produce CFT support material for data remediation projects.
  • Produce draft communications as well as stakeholder and MI summary packs.
  • Lead communication channels with CFTs including: Teams Calls, Teams Chat, Drop into office / regional calls to update on Change and Data projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to support adoption of changes to systems and business processes within the branch network.
  • Manage escalations which are either raised by the CAO team or wider business functions to conclusion.

Functional

  • Work closely with the other CAO teams, partner with the business to identify and triage issues limiting business productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Embed operational workflows and methodology in partnership with the Regional Business Managers and Office Managers.
  • Work with the CAO Senior Managers to enhance management reporting to deliver insights to determine root causes of issues.
  • Create tactical and strategic solutions in partnership with the client facing teams and corporate functions to improve processes and update systems to improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure there is a consistent approach across operational and compliance initiatives, communicate clear priorities, and help to identify and implement new processes to improve the efficiency of the business.

Strategic Delivery

  • Support the CFTs by participating in change initiatives to ensure that the CFTs priorities and requirements are represented.
  • Facilitate the implementation/adoption of other centrally driven projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure that data quality standards are established and maintained, identify data quality issues with a resolution path.
  • Create transparency and visibility to the CFTs by tracking implementation of projects, processes, and other central initiatives.

  • Proven experience within the financial services sector, ideally within a wealth management environment.
  • Proven experience in a role with comparable responsibilities.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes and technological impact on relevant areas.
  • Up to date knowledge of the regulatory environment and the challenges affecting Wealth Management.
  • Ability to travel to UK branch locations as required to support engagement activities.
  • An eagerness to utilise AI to create efficiencies in the organisation and be innovative with solving problems.
