This role focuses on delivering RBC Corporate Real Estate (CRE) services and initiatives that enhance the overall workplace experience, fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, and innovation. The role holder will lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, change management in the workplace, and build on collaboration and employee wellbeing, including community events, wellness programs, sustainability, employee resource group engagement, and feedback-driven workplace improvements. Vendor management and engagement is essential as most of the work will be delivered in partnership with 3rd party CRE Partners.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days at our 100 Bishopsgate, London office.

What Will You Do?

  • Workplace Experience: Foster a positive, inclusive, and efficient work environment to enhance employee well-being and engagement. Oversee daily workplace operations, ensuring spaces align with company culture and are functional and welcoming. Collaborate with HR, IT, Facilities, and Leadership to deliver a seamless employee experience from onboarding to daily operations. Conduct regular checks (floor walking, visual inspections) to ensure high-quality Corporate Real Estate (CRE) services. Collect feedback on CRE services and develop action plans for improvement. Organize community events (e.g., town halls, training sessions) to foster employee connection. Manage space policy implementation, facilities coordination, health and safety compliance, and workplace technology. Monitor utilization metrics and use data to recommend enhancements and influence behaviours. Research trends and analyse data to identify workplace experience improvements. Drive change management initiatives (e.g., clear desk policy, meeting room protocols). Proactively improve physical workspaces, collaboration areas, and space usage. Promote CRE initiatives to the business community. Design and implement programs to boost employee well-being and engagement. Coordinate CRE efforts across service lines (front of house, hospitality, security, etc.) to deliver an exceptional workplace experience.
  • Vendor Engagement: Partner with CRE colleagues and third-party vendors to deliver services. Assist in assessing vendor performance.
  • Technology: Collaborate on system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. Contribute to evaluating new applications.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • Must-Have: Experience in facilities management, change management, or employee experience. Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance operational efficiency with a people-first approach. Confidence in customer service and change management principles. Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Understanding of property technology and system rollouts. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, psychology, communications).
  • Managerial Excellence: Align peers and service providers with RBC’s vision and leadership model. Build and maintain relationships with internal departments, clients, and vendors. Optimize processes and implement best practices for continuous improvement. Coach and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Nice-to-have: Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
