The Chief Administration Office (CAO) supports the Wealth Management Europe (WME) business lines through three core principles: Protect, Sustain, and Grow.
We are seeking a Senior Business Manager to join the CAO Business Engagement team, based in London on a permanent basis. The Business Engagement Team is the first point of contact for the Client Facing Teams (CFT). They partner with leaders across compliance, risk, finance, tax, legal, change, technology, and marketing to deliver practical solutions and build strong relationships that enable effective collaboration.
Reporting to the Head of Business Engagement, you will oversee team workflow, maintain workbooks within business engagement, prioritise key work items, and ensure clear accountability and delivery across the pillar. A significant part of this role involves producing management information and creating presentations for senior forums, including ExCo level. You must be confident using data analysis platforms and MS Office tools to present compelling insights from data.
The role will suit someone with a business management background or comparable experience managing cross-functional responsibilities. We are looking for someone highly organised, able to operate effectively at all organisational levels, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. You will inspire team members, drive positive behaviours, and have the tenacity and confidence required to deputise for the Head of Business Engagement where required. This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the London office.
What will you do?
- Govern Business Engagement team; produce MI and reporting and other forums.
- Oversee Business Engagement workbook and lead communication channels with CFTs on Business initiatives, Change and Data projects.
- Support Business Engagement senior managers by representing CAO in working groups, ensuring system/process changes consider CFT requirements, and producing CFT support materials.
- Work with CAO Senior Business Managers to ensure offices have resources to support in embedding changes and promote adoption of processes.
- Partner with business to identify and triage productivity issues and work with local offices to improve productivity; embed operational workflows with Regional Business Managers and Office Managers.
- Enhance management reporting to determine root causes and create tactical/strategic solutions with client-facing teams and corporate functions.
- Provide active support on business projects with constructive challenge and solutions.
- Ensure consistent approach across operational and compliance initiatives; align with COO core business areas.
- Support Client Facing Partners to achieve KPIs and strategic objectives.
- Participate in strategic change initiatives; facilitate adoption of centrally-driven projects with constructive feedback.
- Create transparency and visibility on project implementation and central initiatives.
- All members of the CAO team to utilise AI to create efficiencies in the organisation and be innovative with solving problems.

- Significant experience within the financial services sector, ideally within a wealth management environment.
- Business Management or similar experience.
- Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills.
- Understanding of end-to-end business processes and impact on relevant areas.
- Able to direct and influence senior colleagues to drive effective decision-making and execution.
- Able to prioritise competing demands and create simple and effective outcomes in complex situations.
- Up to date knowledge of the regulatory environment and the challenges affecting Wealth Management.
