You will provide expert business and technical analysis to support Global Security initiatives, translate complex security requirements into actionable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with regulatory standards. This role acts as a liaison between security teams, stakeholders, and technology partners to drive secure and efficient business outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires at least 4 days in 10 Fenchurch Avenue, London office.

What will you do?

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, identifying security risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Gather documents, and prioritise technical and non-technical requirements for security projects.
  • Develop detailed process flows, use cases, and functional specifications for security solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to design and implement secure systems and applications.
  • Perform gap analysis between current and desired security states, recommending remediation strategies.
  • Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Create and maintain security-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote security awareness and best practices.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Extensive experience in business analysis, with a focus on IT or security projects.
  • Proven expertise in requirements engineering, process modeling, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance.
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and audit processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CBAP.
  • Familiarity with RBC's security tools, technologies, and operational environment.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools for security metrics and reporting.
