What is the opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the Global Investment Banking (GIB) Transportation Team in our London office. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the marketing and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt, Equity and other financial advisory services. RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Assisting in execution of mandated deals
  • Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
  • Gathering public information through numerous sources
  • Creating financial model analyses
  • Generating discounted cash flow models and other models for valuation metrics
  • Building company forecast models
  • Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financings and/or sell-side assignments
  • Producing and maintaining various databases
  • General research
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must-have University degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in investment banking or equivalent
  • Demonstrable Investment Banking transaction experience and a comprehensive understanding of the valuation approaches typically used
