We’re looking for an experienced and versatile digital marketing and communications professional to join our thriving Intermediaries department—a fast-growing channel managing over £25bn in assets and driving innovation at RBC Brewin Dolphin.

The Digital Distribution Manager will bridge the gap between communication strategy and sales execution, collaborating with partner firms and internal stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will shape how we engage with financial advisory businesses, ensuring our messaging resonates at every stage of the client lifecycle. You should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing concepts, long-term communications strategies, brand development, digital communications and be able to respond to deadlines to meet the company's changing needs.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and act as a consultant to assist with marketing plans for external partner adviser firms.
  • Manage multiple relationships with specific objectives across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collect feedback from front line sales and advisory partner businesses contributing to sales and distribution strategy leveraging internal support and driving collaboration through consistent messaging.
  • Analyse data, insights, industry trends, competitor analysis, and distribution best practices to build successful strategies for our Intermediary partners.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics to our partner adviser firms.
  • Partner with sales teams via email, digital and web channels to design, test, and follow through on any lead generation between partner firms and RBC Brewin Dolphin.
  • Help develop sales materials to meet objectives for all sales focused objectives.
  • Conceptualise and execute campaigns across prospective and existing partner adviser businesses, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging aligns to all stages of their business growth.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, aligning to budget guidelines, participation in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads for partner firms.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives at partner firms with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about distribution programs.
  • Act as central point of contact between the Intermediaries marketing team and the Sales team.
  • Share insights from partner firms with the Intermediaries marketing team to help shape existing and future marketing materials and content.
