Job Description
What is the opportunity?
You will be supporting the National Charity Team at RBC Brewin Dolphin, which manages approximately £4 billion of funds under management for charity and not-for-profit clients across the UK. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development for Charities & Philanthropy, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the charity investment business through prospecting new clients, retaining existing relationships, and delivering high-impact business development activities.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the office at our London location.
What will you do?
- Plan and execute charity team events, including industry conferences, seminars, and webinars, liaising with partners and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics and delivery
- Create and oversee marketing materials including event invites, the Charity Brochure, independent articles, website content, and the annual Charity Perspective Magazine in collaboration with marketing and compliance teams
- Manage the RBC Brewin Dolphin Charities LinkedIn page, including drafting posts, monitoring engagement metrics, and driving page growth
- Ensure all charity team collateral maintains brand consistency while coordinating compliance reviews to meet regulatory requirements
- Oversee data management of new leads from mailing lists and events, ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate handover to local teams
- Support sales activities by drafting investment proposals and presentation packs for prospective charity clients and managing the charity inbox with prompt enquiry responses
- Attend industry events as a team representative and coordinate with speakers and attendees to deliver successful webinars
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and influence successful outcomes
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative and think creatively
Nice-to-have
- Background or education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing & Communications, or Brand Management
- Awareness of basic marketing techniques, concepts, and tools such as Momentum or Wrike
- Interest in or evidence of involvement with a charity or volunteering experience
