You will be a Programme Management Office (PMO) Support professional within the Wealth Management Europe Transformation Management Office, supporting Change Leads and Change Managers with the delivery of key projects and initiatives across the WME Change Portfolio. Working in close partnership with the Core Transformation Management Office, you will provide PMO support, governance oversight, and expertise in RBC’s project delivery framework. This is a permanent, full-time role and requires minimum 4 days in the office at our London location.
What will you do?
- Provide comprehensive PMO support to Change Leads and Change Managers, focusing on project coordination, planning, and control using PMO tools and templates.
- Maintain timely, accurate, high-quality data updates in project management tools to support reporting and oversight activities.
- Develop and contribute to programme and project documentation, including status reports and steering committee packs, with robust quality assurance.
- Ensure all project teams adhere to RBC’s delivery governance framework and phase gate crossing processes.
- Perform forensic quality assurance on risks, actions, issues, change requests, dependencies, and lessons learned logs.
- Support project finance processes, monitoring cost variance against budget and ensuring corrective actions are in place.
- Provide secretariat support to key project and programme governance forums.
- Identify dependencies across workstreams, projects, and programmes to ensure effective information flow.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Demonstrable experience in project or change management analyst and support roles.
- Project or programme management qualification (such as Prince2, MoP, or APM) with understanding of project management methodologies including Agile.
- Ability to work effectively with and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with forensic attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and self-manage with a strong ‘can do’ attitude, capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary, team-based environments where consensus-building is essential.
Nice-to-have
- Financial Services industry experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of stakeholder management and working in network environments.
