The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 € per year.
You will support the creation and maintenance of reference data (e.g., security, fund, broker, and benchmark data) in systems like IVP Security Master, Simcorp Dimension, Charles River, and Wall Street Office. You’ll assist in improving data quality through process improvements and help with the daily pricing of bonds, derivatives, equities, and loans using tools like IVP Price Master, Bloomberg, Pricing Direct, ICE Data Services, Refinitiv, and S&P.
This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 4 days on-site at our 100 Bishopsgate, London office.
What will you do?
- Assist in resolving pricing and reference data issues under guidance.
- Support the identification of new control points and help monitor operational risks.
- Analyze data using tools like MS Excel (intermediate skills) and learn to use VBA, SQL, or Python for data tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Investment Desks, IT, Risk, Fund Accounting) to ensure smooth data flow and system implementations.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with stakeholders and staying informed about system upgrades.
- Help ensure systems provide accurate and timely information to staff and clients.
- Contribute to team updates and projects with supervision.
- Occasionally provide after-hours coverage, especially during US holidays.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have: Basic proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn complex concepts.
- Willingness to learn Python programming (no prior experience required).
- Interest in financial services and data management.
- Nice-to-have: A degree in a STEM, Finance, or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics).
- Prior experience working within a financial institution.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying.
- Familiarity with financial systems or tools.
