The Citizenship Executive will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the company's social responsibility initiatives. From supporting our volunteers and charity partnerships, to communicating and celebrating the work our teams do in their local communities, this role plays a crucial part in helping us fulfil our citizenship commitments.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in our London Bishopsgate office.

What will you do?

  • Support the design and delivery of the CSR programs and initiatives from a One RBC perspective as well as for regional offices, ensuring they are impactful, measurable, and aligned with the company's values.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, community organizations, NGOs, and government agencies, to collaborate on CSR initiatives.
  • Manage projects related to environmental sustainability, social impact, diversity and inclusion, and other CSR focus areas.
  • Produce regular reports and communication materials to share progress, achievements, and challenges with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify community needs and opportunities for the company to contribute positively to local communities through philanthropic donations, volunteerism, and partnerships.
  • Assist in managing charitable giving programs and ensure donations are directed to organisations aligned with the company's values.
  • Ensure the company adheres to ethical business practices, including responsible sourcing, fair labour standards, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and HR to develop employee engagement programs and communications materials that promote volunteering, employee well-being, and a culture of social responsibility within the organization.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Exceptional organisational skills and able to work independently.
  • High standard of written and spoken English with good numerical skills.
  • Budget Management experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Proven experience of working in a demanding environment.
