We are seeking a Business Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Wealth Management Europe (WME) Business Risk function. In this role, you will act as a key risk partner, collaborating with stakeholders across the business and the three lines of defence to embed a strong risk culture, drive strategic outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
RBC's expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Audit Partnering
- Support the end-to-end internal/external audit process, ensuring audits are managed efficiently with minimal business disruption.
- Act as the primary liaison between WME functions, 2nd Line of Defence (2LOD), and 3rd Line of Defence (3LOD) to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Coordinate audit plans, scope, and timelines across WME, ensuring stakeholder agreement and adherence.
- Facilitate audit requests, review findings, and ensure timely sign-off and issue resolution.
- Risk Partnering
- Lead the development of risk reporting and profiles (e.g., Data Risk Profile) to enhance risk management capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvements in business risk management practices.
- Inclusion and Belonging
- Actively participate in RBC's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including events like Culture & Community Day.
