We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join the Global Investment Banking (GIB) Transportation Team in our London office. The Associate will be responsible for supporting the marketing and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt, Equity and other financial advisory services. RBCβs expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Assisting in execution of mandated deals
- Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- Gathering public information through numerous sources
- Creating financial model analyses
- Generating discounted cash flow models and other models for valuation metrics
- Building company forecast models
- Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financings and/or sell-side assignments
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- General research
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have: University degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in investment banking or equivalent at Associate level
- Demonstrable Investment Banking transaction experience and a comprehensive understanding of the valuation approaches typically used
