Analyst, OTC Derivatives & Structured Products, Trade & Sales Support – Credit/Rates/Equity, Capital Markets
Location: London, United Kingdom (100 Bishopsgate, London, United Kingdom)
What is the opportunity?
In this role you will support the London-based OTC Derivatives and Structured Product desks, covering Credit, Rates, and Equity. You will gain a deep understanding of the products and system infrastructure, enabling you to provide best-in-class trade execution and white‑glove service to RBC’s investment professionals and clients.
This position requires four days in the office.
What will you do?
Support complex transactions for Credit, Rates and Equity Derivatives, and Structured Products, including hedging activities across a wide range of asset classes.
Serve as the central point of contact for the business, collaborating with Sales, Trading, Clients and internal functional groups.
Validate trade bookings to ensure complete accuracy for downstream processing.
Enrich trades from F/O instruction.
Manage trade lifecycle events, ensuring accurate booking in the relevant system and handling client communication as needed.
Assist in resolving trade and cash breaks, informing F/O and following BCS escalation procedures.
Perform data reconciliations in line with team procedures.
Facilitate the setup of new broker/counterparty/client accounts within the relevant systems.
Provide expertise and input into new projects, business initiatives and process improvements.
Ensure all tasks are completed daily and captured on the team’s end‑of‑day process.

Experience with OTC Derivatives or Structured Products and related events
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (Dodd‑Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, PTMM, etc.)
Technical proficiency in financial systems and exchanges: Bloomberg Terminal, Murex, Sophis, DTCC TradeServ, ICE, LCH
Experience in downstream processing of OTC Derivatives or Structured Products
