This is a 6-month fixed term contract (FTC) joining our Human Resources team as an employee.

As HR Talent Cycle Consultant, you will be responsible for processing employee job changes including promotions, transfers, salary changes, contract amendments and organisational restructures, supporting UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. You will be managing end-to-end family Leave administration including maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and parental leave for the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. You will also be managing terminations and offboarding, such as preparing termination documentation and ensuring Workday (HRIS system) is updated accurately, while coordinating with payroll and relevant stakeholders to support effective offboarding. You will prepare and issue employment documentation and contractual agreements.

You will need to collaborate with the business, HRBPs and wider HR Shared Services and Payroll teams to ensure all data and administration activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You will enable our employees and people managers to execute Workday-related tasks by providing timely, navigational support for information on HR policies, procedures, and completion of tasks. You will build trust and rapport with HR teams and business colleagues by engaging or escalating any queries you receive that require additional expertise to be resolved.

This is a full time 6-month fixed term contract that requires 4 days in the 100 Bishopsgate, London office.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the administration of all Talent Cycle processes including family leave, job changes and terminations and the data integrity of the HRIS system related to employee lifecycle changes.
  • Generates all required letters for employee job changes, lifecycle, and leaves.
  • Work with RBC partners and vendors and on international assignments and movements.
  • Manage processes with employee, manager, and HR Business Partner team where appropriate.
  • Create employee files in a timely manner and maintenance of employee dossier.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all incoming work and queries to Talent Cycle Europe in the British Isles (email, phone and potentially chat).
  • Ownership and resolution of standard policy related questions coming from employees and providing guidance on HR workplace policies and practices pertaining to our HR Platform, Workday.
  • Determine the appropriate contact/team and triage to resolve the work item and route it accordingly using the ServiceNow case management and workflow system.
  • Maintain case management and HRIS systems ensuring information is current & accurate, allowing data to be pulled effectively and provided to wider HR department and HRBPs as and when required.
  • Manage operational relationship with wider HR teams and escalate for resolution of issues as and when required.
  • Ensure all department and company driven processes are completed within SLA, whilst identifying any improvements in the processes in place.
  • Create, implement, train and maintain HR operating procedures for Talent Cycle to ensure all required tasks are documented.
  • Meet new hires on the first day of employment; collect and process their right-to-work documentation.

  • Experience of using HRIS system, preferably Workday.
  • Ability to prepare accurate documentation with a high standard of presentation and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work on own initiative diligently and without constant supervision, applying analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Superior organisational skills with ability to manage high volume of work, attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within HR team and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet objectives within tight deadlines while working with others in the team and organisation.
