We have an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Administrator to join the Wealth Management team in our Exeter office on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day ongoing administration of client’s accounts. This is a busy and varied role where you will be providing the best possible service to our colleagues and clients as part of a cohort of likeminded individuals, who strive to achieve great results and ensure the smooth running and growth of the office.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely.

What will you do?

  • Communicate with Wealth Managers, clients, external Financial Advisers and other professional contacts.
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and existing client amendments.
  • Process and monitor transfers of assets/cash from other institutions.
  • Support ISA subscriptions and transfers.
  • Processing withdrawal instructions/cash movements.
  • Liaise with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts.
  • Ensure client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.
  • General record keeping and electronic filing.
  • Adhering to Conduct Risk standards.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience in administration with good organisational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 Suite and Outlook essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive individual.
  • Ability to work within a team but equally able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.

Nice-to-have

  • Awareness of MiFID II legislative framework.
  • Exposure to Wealth Management and Financial Planning.
