The Chief Administration Office (CAO) supports the Wealth Management Europe (WME) business lines through three core principles:

  • Protect: Implements and embeds effective first-line controls and processes within the Advice business to ensure good client outcomes from the outset.
  • Sustain: Acts as the first point of contact between Front Office and Client Facing Teams, identifying and triaging issues that impact business productivity, efficiency, and performance against KPIs and KRIs.
  • Grow: Identifies process-related opportunities to increase capacity for Client Facing Teams to pursue new business, including ensuring high-quality data availability, delivering front office change projects, and providing training.

We are looking for a CAO Business Initiatives Change Manager to join the team in Edinburgh or London on a 12 Month FTC to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of CAO Business Initiatives, the role incorporates design and implementation of strategic change across the RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC Private Wealth business. Specific initiatives may include changes to operating models, proposition design and launch, enhancements to service delivery and the adoption of any changes/projects from other business areas which may impact the client experience.

What will you do?

  • Transformation Delivery: Support transformation initiatives including process enhancement, operating model redesign, proposition design/launch, and client service delivery improvements.
  • Change Adoption & Implementation: Drive adoption of changes and projects impacting client-facing teams and client experience; manage transition of initiatives into BAU.
  • Project Management & Governance: Lead working groups, manage RAID logs, create packs for Working Groups and Steer Co., and hold parties accountable for delivery.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across CAO and other business functions to drive alignment between client-facing teams and corporate functions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate CAO roadmap to client-facing teams and showcase change initiatives; prepare teams for transitioning change into BAU.
  • Business Change Liaison: Liaise closely with Business Change & Transformation department on projects in progress to ensure coordinated delivery.
  • Escalation Management: Manage escalations to timely resolution.
  • Client-Centric Outcomes: Drive collaboration between client-facing teams and corporate functions to create strong client outcomes.

All members of the CAO team to utilise AI to create efficiencies in the organisation and be innovative with solving problems.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must-have:
    • Project Management: Experience in delivering transformation initiatives in the financial services industry including process enhancement, operating models, proposition design/launch, and client service delivery and managing transition into BAU.
    • Business Process: Ability to conduct comprehensive GAP analyses and impact assessments to identify improvement opportunities. Experience mapping current state and future state processes.
    • Communication and Influence: Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Personal Effectiveness: Highly motivated, organised, and self-sufficient with strong ownership mentality.
  • Nice-to-have: Wealth Management experience.
