We have an exciting opportunity for a Syndicated Loans Analyst to join the team in our Bishopsgate office in London. This role acts as an Agent to syndicated credit facilities with multiple banks and lenders. The primary objective of the position is to provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support of these credit facilities in an efficient and professional manner. This is a permanent, full‑time role and requires 4 days in the Bishopsgate office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily reconciliation of the Agency internal accounts by following up for missing or excess funds.
  • Maintain the bank’s records and databases.
  • Work with other team members to deal with complex queries, contribute to IT or other projects, and resolve any issues as required.
  • Identify gaps in Agency processes and recommend changes to minimise operational / reputational risk.
  • Provide support for the growth of RBC Capital Markets lending business in the UK and Continental Europe.
  • Process transactions upon request from assigned clients in accordance with the relevant Credit Agreement.
  • Process loan principal, interest and fee transactions as required.
  • Meet consistently high‑quality standards while handling a variety of tasks with time‑sensitive deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Nice‑to‑have – Prior experience in syndicated loan administration.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in loan trading.
