RBC Brewin Dolphin is seeking Financial Planning-focused Wealth Managers for our offices in Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham.

As part of our dynamic growth, the RBC Brewin Dolphin business is seeking a Wealth Manager to lead client relationships in the West of England. As a Wealth Manager, you will oversee and manage a dedicated client base with diverse financial planning needs, ensuring tailored solutions and exceptional service. You will strengthen existing client relationships through proactive engagement and personalised financial strategies as well as drive revenue expansion by identifying and securing new client opportunities, leveraging your expertise and networks.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the office in either the Bath, Bristol or Cheltenham office.

What will you do?

  • Build Lasting Partnerships: Cultivate deep relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families, understanding their unique financial and personal goals to deliver holistic wealth solutions, with the support of an excellent support team.
  • Drive Growth with Impact: Leverage your expertise to expand our client base through strategic networking, referrals, and business development initiatives, directly contributing to team and individual revenue targets.
  • Champion the RBC Proposition: Articulate our comprehensive suite of services—from investment strategies to trust and lending solutions—with confidence and clarity, ensuring clients receive seamless, best-in-class advice.
  • Operational Excellence: Harness digital tools and process innovations to enhance efficiency, client adoption, and scalable growth.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must-have: Hold a Level 4 CII/CISI certification (with FP & Advice paper) as a minimum, with progress toward Level 6 CII or Chartered Wealth Manager (CISI Level 7) preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record as a successful Wealth Manager / Financial Planner, navigating complex advice areas (e.g., tax, estate planning) with integrity and precision.
  • Exceptional communication skills, market insight, and trust-building abilities to become clients’ go-to advisor.
