Job Responsibilities

  • Manager Team proactively supports Relationship Managers with client acquisition and existing client retention, including annual reviews, deal reviews, joint meetings, and client events.
  • Supports the Investment Directors in managing a book of allocated discretionary client portfolios and relationships, primarily by taking ownership of the admin (payments, queries, fees, closures, account opening, etc.) that come through the team inbox and providing administrative support for annual reviews such as preparation of suitability letters and investment documents.
  • Opportunities to progress to a portfolio of clients in your own name after sufficient training.
  • When required, manages transaction orders ensuring deal entry accuracy.
  • Strives to be a technical expert across all investment asset classes and investment products.
  • Cascades the investment house views, ideas and insights to RMs, trustees and clients, as appropriate.
  • Keeps accurate records of all client correspondence, KYC and documentation on central record keeping systems, Salesforce and Content Manager as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be level 4 qualified or studying towards it, targeting level 6 (CISI PCIAM or equivalent).
  • Requires investment/securities dealing experience.
  • Awareness of different asset classes and products including equities, bonds, hedge funds, FX, structured products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is of primary importance.
  • Understanding of the workings of financial markets.
