Job Description

RBC Private Wealth is looking for an Associate to join our client management team—a role that sits at the heart of what we do. You'll be the go‑to person supporting our Relationship Managers, ensuring every client interaction is seamless from day one. Think of yourself as the backbone of our onboarding process: you'll handle new client setups, manage structure changes, keep client data current, and make sure all our compliance boxes are ticked. This is a chance to build real expertise in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment where attention to detail genuinely matters.

RBC's expectation is that you will work in the office 4 days in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely.

What will you do?

  • Elevate client experiences by supporting our Relationship Managers and ensuring smooth, compliant client onboarding that drives sustainable growth
  • Review and verify all KYC documentation, RBC forms, and IRS paperwork—liaising with teams and clients to close any gaps
  • Navigate complex structures for companies, trusts, and charities, managing change requests with precision
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance by collating and reviewing documentation before handover to specialist teams
  • Keep our systems sharp by updating client information in our CRM system accurately and promptly

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proven experience in client‑facing or client service roles
  • Strong KYC/CDD knowledge and understanding of company and trust structures
  • Meticulous attention to detail—errors simply won't cut it here
  • Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; fast and accurate typist
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball

What is in it for you?

  • We thrive on the challenge to be our best – progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
  • Opportunities to work with the best in the field.
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high‑performing team.
