RBC Private Wealth is seeking an Associate to join our Central Services Team in London. The role provides administrative support to client coverage teams on core services required, including but not limited to payments, transfers, foreign exchanges, static data changes, responding to client card and cheque enquiries, and other client-related tasks. RBC's expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Review and prioritise incoming emails into a shared inbox, action and file appropriately.
- Conduct telephone security call backs with clients.
- Process domestic and international payments for clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process internal transfers between accounts within agreed timescales.
- Assist with the processing of foreign exchange transactions where required in a timely manner.
- Record keeping of transactions on client relationship system where required.
- Assist client coverage teams with adhoc remediation projects as and when required.
- Assist with any general administration duties as may be required.
- Ensure timely settlement of loan interest and investment fees.
- Point of contact for card and cheque enquiries.
- Serve as a point of contact for the wider Private Wealth team who may need assistance with payment queries.
- Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues and escalate/report all risk events and near misses immediately.
Qualifications
- Client exposure and coverage experience.
- Previous banking experience and/or direct client interaction.
- Financial services industry knowledge preferred.
- Degree (not essential).
- Wealth management, financial services, or professional services experience.
- Payment processing or banking operations background.
