This is a 12 month FTC maternity cover at VP/Associate Director level. This position is full time and requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with the option to work one day from home.

What will you do?

  • Email marketing: You'll work hands-on in SFMC and Hubspot helping to build, manage and optimise customer journeys. You won't need to do any copywriting or design - this role is focused on the technical setup, automation and data use. You'll work with internal teams and external partners to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Hands on experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create, test, and deploy single and multi-step email campaigns, landing pages, events and webinars.
  • Use Customer data to personalise communications and improve engagement.
  • Develop email strategy that drives customer retention and lead generation through customer life cycle analysis and lead scoring.
  • Based on performance, suggest improvements to make campaigns more effective.
  • Responsible for the delivery, data segmentation and post analysis of email campaigns - managing A/B tests, with presentation of results for monthly and quarterly meetings.
  • Make sure all marketing campaigns follow company policy and data privacy rules.
  • Collaborate with vendors and teams to solve issues and keep things running smoothly.

Campaigns

  • Work with the team to formulate and run digital campaigns in line with marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify best campaign tactics to drive desired outcomes.
  • Define KPIs, monitor campaign performance, develop dashboards, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with different sales distribution channels and understand the sales structure to build effective distributions lists and lead scoring capabilities.
  • Brief and oversee work of external agencies.

Analytics

  • Use our analytics tools and dashboards to provide regular insights and reporting focusing on key performance indicators across the website, social, email, organic & paid search.

Subject matter expert

  • Keep informed and share knowledge of digital marketing trends particularly email marketing trends.
  • Provide input into evaluating new technologies.
  • Work closely with other parts of the business to provide digital support and advice.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must-have: Extensive experience in digital marketing, passionate and driven in all aspects of digital marketing, strong project management skills and ability to manage and work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns, hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, experience in content management systems and HTML, experience in Google Analytics, knowledge of LinkedIn ad platform, ability to report data, recognise trends and analyse and communicate the success or otherwise of campaigns.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong interest in financial services marketing, an excellent eye for detail and good proof-reading skills, team player, beneficial to have experience in financial compliance procedures, knowledge of Hubspot but hands-on experience is a nice to have.
