As a Senior Site Manager, you will be managing, controlling and supporting the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time and on budget, covering projects in Yorkshire.
Making PossibleReporting to the Project Manager and becoming an integral member of the construction team, you would be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of the construction management role, management of subcontractors and have a proven track record of exceeding targets and achieving high scores in health and safety, environmental management and Considerate Constructor Scheme.
- Management of complex Construction process including knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical installations
- Ensure that appropriate quality records are being produced and monitored to verify that the works are produced in accordance with the specification requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Management Plan and BAM Operating Procedures including the Construction Phase Management Plan
- Able to work to programme and associated deadlines
- Set up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation
- Ensuring BAM construction environmental procedures are implemented on site
- Keep site diaries including records of subcontractor attendance and progress
- Manage direct and sub-contractor packages and the keeping of associated records
- Input on buildability issues as required

What do you bring to the role?
- Experience in delivering high quality projects
- Experience working on various types of Construction projects. School construction experience would be beneficial although not essential
- Broad construction based technical experience
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification and be competent to carry out site management tasks they are directed to do, ideally SMSTS
- Confident in the use of IT packages and systems
- Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
- Good communication skills
- HNC/Degree, MCIOB or equivalent or a trade’s background
- Full driving licence
