Building a sustainable tomorrow. BAM Site Solutions are recruiting a Mobile Fitter to be based out of our Depot in Wellingborough to provide on-site servicing, repair, and maintenance of plant hire equipment to minimise downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
In addition to an attractive salary we offer a contributory pension, 25 days holiday, family friendly policy and BAM social club membership.
Your mission:
- Travel to customer sites to carry out repairs and servicing of plant machinery such as excavators, telehandlers, and dumpers.
- Diagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with the depot team to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
- Ensuring minimal equipment downtime for customers.
- Maintaining a high standard of service and safety on-site.
Who are we looking for?
- A skilled and experienced mobile fitter with a background in servicing and maintaining plant hire equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with experience in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to resolve issues on-site.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential, along with excellent time-management skills.
