Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Site Solutions are recruiting a Depot Supervisor based in Kilsyth. You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring the safe, efficient and effective delivery of BAM Site Solutions products and services.

The role supports the Depot Manager in the management of operational activities, asset control, yard operations, maintenance coordination and team performance. The postholder will ensure that products are prepared, maintained, stored and dispatched in accordance with company standards whilst delivering excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all health, safety and operational requirements.

The Depot Supervisor will lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Making Possible
  • Supervise daily depot, yard and operational activities, coordinating workload and resources to meet priorities.
  • Ensure products and equipment are prepared, inspected and available for customer requirements.
  • Monitor activity to achieve service targets and support the Depot Manager in driving performance and efficiency.
  • Act as operational lead when required.
  • Oversee receipt, storage, preparation, maintenance and dispatch of hire assets.
  • Ensure assets are inspected and maintained to company standards.
  • Support stock control and inventory processes, monitor asset condition and report maintenance needs.
  • Contribute to achieving utilisation and availability targets.
  • Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.
  • Ensure all depot activities follow company policies, procedures and safe working practices.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, support risk assessments and ensure statutory inspections are completed.
  • Report and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses in line with procedures.
  • Provide daily supervision, guidance and support to depot and yard teams.
  • Assist with onboarding, training and development.
  • Monitor attendance, performance and productivity, promoting teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Ensure customer orders are prepared and delivered accurately and on time.
  • Support collections, returns and enquiries, helping resolve operational issues and customer concerns.
  • Promote a customer‑focused approach across all depot activities.
  • Ensure operational processes are followed consistently and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Support implementation of improvements and best practices while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and depot presentation.
  • Complete operational records, inspections and reporting requirements accurately.
  • Support stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Assist with performance reporting and operational data collection, ensuring depot documentation is current and compliant.
