We are looking to appoint two dedicated schedulers (one with a technical bias, the other with a costume bias) to work closely with each other, as well as with the Technical Production & Costume (TPC) senior management to efficiently and accurately schedule staff working on productions at RBO.

Our ideal candidate will be extremely organised, with an interest in the scheduling and workings of a live performance environment and the ability to solve problems in real time. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A good understanding of the requirements of a busy theatre environment and how teams work together
  • Accurate and extreme close attention to detail
  • A systematic approach to managing tasks and priorities and work to strict deadlines
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure, take initiative, and work unsupervised
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with databases including Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational skills; an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of our current scheduling system (Diese) is not essential but will be highly regarded, as will the capacity to learn and adapt quickly.
