Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance, rehearsal, and event. We are now seeking to appoint Costume Revival Workroom Assistant Manager. In this role you will lead staff and manage all activities in the Revival Workroom required for the repair and making of items for revivals, co-productions, and hired productions, achieving the highest standards to realise the Designers’ creative vision. Our ideal candidates will have proven experience of managing teams and projects with consistent high production standards. You will also be able to evidence: A Theatrical Costume qualification to degree level, or comparable qualification/degree in a relevant craft skills area. A proven track record in craft skills workrooms with a major production theatre or venue, or comparable film/TV experience, with supervisory experience. Extensive practical making experience and a sympathetic approach to creative concepts, able to interpret and realise them in practical terms. An excellent knowledge of costume fitting and alteration techniques. Positive leadership style, leading by example Strong awareness of and adherence to Health and Safety policy and best practice
