We are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly skilled Company Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, performance-focused environment, supporting the health, wellbeing and physical performance of dancers of the Royal Ballet. As Company Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. You will manage your own clinical caseload, provide evidence-based advice, and work collaboratively with colleagues across healthcare and operational teams. The role would suit a confident clinician with strong musculoskeletal experience, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in helping elite ballet dancers perform at their best About the Role You will assess and treat a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, supporting individuals from initial presentation through to return to full activity. You will develop personalised rehabilitation plans, monitor progress, and provide practical guidance on injury prevention, load management, recovery and long-term self-management. The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously while contributing actively to a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal presentations. Manage an independent caseload, prioritising effectively and adapting care to individual needs. Design and progress evidence-based rehabilitation programmes to support safe return to work and dance performance. Deliver advice on injury prevention, recovery strategies and physical wellbeing. Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support integrated care and positive outcomes. Maintain clear, timely and confidential clinical records in line with professional standards. Contribute to service improvement, audit, education and best-practice development. About You You will be a qualified Physiotherapist with current HCPC registration, ideally including dance, sports, performance settings experience. You will have excellent clinical reasoning, a patient-centred approach and the confidence to work independently. Why Join Us?
