Location: Covent Garden, London

Employment Type: Permanent Contract, Full-time (42.5 hours per week)

Salary: £58,623.63 per annum

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Wigs and Make‑Up department in a strategic position. You will be responsible for ensuring all activities meet the highest standards, and for effective leadership and management of a team of 27 permanent staff alongside casual and freelance personnel.

You Will Also Be Able To Demonstrate

• Excellent professional experience in hair and make‑up techniques for theatre.
• Extensive knowledge of the latest techniques, materials and products used for wig making, make‑up looks, and prosthetics, including historical period wig making and setting, hair qualities and suppliers.
• Strong experience of budget and resource management.
• Strong relationship management skills, and the ability to manage conflict and seek resolution with a professional and positive approach.
