Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a Painter to cover the dayshift and carry out tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager to ensure the clubhouse is maintained to the expected standard. Requests will include daily tasks and planned maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Redecorate and repair the building fabric using specified paints, wood finishes, wallcoverings, renders and plasters
- Keep paint store safe and tidy and maintain adequate stock levels and order materials needed for the day to day running of the department
- Recommend choice of materials to be used where appropriate
- Comply with Club rules, HASAW and COSHH
- Ensure all equipment is in good order
- Support all other departments and team members in their daily tasks
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies, and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and method statements and tool box talks where appropriate
