Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Back of House Kitchen Manager to oversee the effective leadership and day-to-day management of a team of 13 Kitchen Porters and 2 Kitchen Supervisors, ensuring the kitchen and support areas run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Delivering standards as set in the Club health and safety policy, produce 5-star EHO standards of hygiene and continually strive for perfection.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create rotas to maintain staffing to cover all restaurants and food outlets within the budgeted levels and ensure an efficient workforce
  • Reporting on a day to day basis to the head chef on all cleaning and maintenance issues
  • Control and manage stock levels of small kitchen equipment
  • Train and support the kitchen team
  • Recruit and performance manage the team to ensure that each member is motivated, engaged and fulfilling their potential
  • Work closely with the food outlet managers to ensure good communication and teamwork, front and back of house
  • Monitor and manage the employee restaurant service facility, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our employees
