About the Role:

As a Gardener at The Royal Automobile Club, you'll be working on 350 acres of breathtaking landscape. This is a unique opportunity that encompasses not only general garden maintenance but also elements of soft and hard landscaping and the creation of bespoke planting schemes.

Working Hours:

  • Monday Friday: 6.00am-2:30pm
  • Every 6 weeks: 2 half days on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain gardens to the required standard
  • Collaborate with the Head Gardener on garden upkeep
  • Perform tasks in accordance with the Clubs best practices (beds, borders, hedges, lawns, and containers)

About You:

  • Horticulture qualification NVQ 2 or RHS level 2
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Experience managing annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc.
  • Skilled in identifying plant pests and diseases
  • Proficient in using handheld machinery
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Experience with early start times
  • Knowledge of plant names and identification, Latin preferable
  • PA1 & PA6 Qualification
