The Head Bartender leads the bar's day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional members and their guests service, high-quality drinks, and smooth team performance. This role combines hands-on bartending with leadership, training, stock control, and maintaining the overall atmosphere and standards of the bar. Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, attentive, and personalised service.
- Prepare and serve a full range of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and monitor deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplier communication.
- Contribute to cocktail menu creation and seasonal specials.
- Supervise, motivate, and support bartenders and barbacks during service.
- Train new staff on service standards, cocktail recipes, and responsible alcohol service Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic food hygiene - level 1 & 2
- Awareness of Licencing laws
