The Royal Automobile Club one of the world’s foremost private member’s clubs is looking for Casual Course Marshalls to join our team.

As a Course Marshal you will offer a professional welcoming and efficient service in respect of all Golf Course functions.

Our hours are flexible for Casual workers and are decided by the individual Managers.

For over 18\’s the pay in Epsom is £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities:

• To provide the on course operational support, to facilitate play across both the Old and Coronation golf courses.
• The role will ensure the Club rules and etiquette of the game are upheld in relation to the expectations of the Club in relation to the R&A rules of golf.
• As the point of contact for golfers during play, the marshal has an important connection to on course safety, in ensuring the players are using the course correctly and acting responsibly.
• In keeping with the history and tradition of the game, the marshal will ensure the dress code is followed by golfers both at the starting point and during play.
• The role may encounter first responder requirements for first aid and respond in accordance with the Clubs procedures for first response.
• Interacting with Members and their guests on a regular basis and should be able to communicate requirements, set expectations and report back to the Club professionally to ensure awareness of on course situations.

About you:

• Over 18 years old
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent team player and the desire to do the best job possible
• Good knowledge of all golf rules and etiquette
• Understanding and accountability regarding Health & Safety regulations
• Good time keeping and communication skills
