About the Opportunity

The Fitness Centre Receptionist is responsible for administration and desk area activities whilst enhancing member, guest and visitor satisfaction by assisting with their fitness centre needs through the provision of information and a variety of services. This will be achieved by providing the appropriate quality and level of service to RACV members and guests and by adhering to RACV policies and procedures.

As a Fitness Centre Receptionist, your key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Maintain a knowledge of and deliver products and services to members, guests and visitors that are compliant with RACV operating procedures, and which support the achievement of individual and team key performance indicators.
  • Carry out the day-to-day duties associated with the reception, in line with RACV policies and procedures, such as:
  • Answering telephone calls, recording messages, and circulating correspondence to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Meeting and greeting members, guests and visitors.
  • Receiving, recording, and processing enquiries and bookings, upselling/upgrading (when appropriate) as per standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to the delivery of excellent service that promotes a member, guest and visitor first culture building trusted relationships differentiating RACV from its competitors.
  • Provide timely and courteous service, anticipating members, guests, and visitor’s needs, liaising with other departments to deliver on requests.
  • Ensure the safety of member, guests and visitor property, follow up any issues. Provide first aid as required.
  • Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and that Health, Safety and Environment issues are pro-actively managed according to RACV policy and process.
