We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Stores Assistant to join the existing Retail team. Reporting to the Retail Manager and Assistant Buyer, the successful applicant will be an energetic individual who strives at every opportunity to think logistically and plan ahead. You will deliver the best standard of service, expected from a national museum. Attention to detail is also essential as post holders will be required to receive and check deliveries.
A proactive organised person who keeps the stock turning in the store room and works with the shop team to highlight any low running lines. It is imperative that the successful post holder is comfortable working as part of the team to achieve fast turn around for the shop floor to meet the department’s sales targets. You will deliver the best standard of cleanliness and service, while ensuring that the store room and shop is well stocked at all times.
During busy seasons you will be required to help with the online shop pick and pack process alongside the E-Commerce Assistant, to ensure both incoming and outgoing orders are processed efficiently and correctly.
Hours: 25 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. The role will predominantly be office based. Bank Holiday and weekend working may be required.
