We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time HR & Training Officer to join the existing HR team, reporting to the HR Manager.

Overview

The purpose of the role is to provide proactive professional support to managers and staff, acting as the initial contact for HR advice and guidance, ensuring queries are dealt with accurately, efficiently and professionally. The role will also provide professional advice and guidance in relation to recruitment and training and development queries.

Hours

22 hours per week, working 4 days per week, nominally Monday to Thursday. The role will predominantly be office based in Leeds with some hybrid working, with occasional travel to Fort Nelson and Tower of London as per operational requirements. Occasional weekend, Bank Holiday and evening working may be required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Part or Full CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Working towards or completing a HR Apprenticeship
  • Demonstrable relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience of providing professional guidance and advice on ER matters inline with legislation and policy
  • Experience of providing professional guidance on all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Previous experience of working within a HR team
  • High degree of competence in processing and recording data accurately
