The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire. We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Retail Assistant to join the existing Retail team.
Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, the successful applicant will provide excellent customer service to our visitors during peak periods, handling sales with friendly efficiency and accuracy, while creating an engaging visitor experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and exceptional communication skills, paired with genuine enthusiasm for our products and the museum.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to visitors during peak periods on the shop floor.
- Handle sales with accuracy and friendly efficiency while creating an engaging visitor experience.
- Support the Retail team and report to the Retail Store Manager.
Zero hours, weekdays & weekends required. The role is customer facing and will predominantly be based on the shop floor.
