JOB TITLE: Archives, Library and Records Manager

£35,897 – £41,282 per annum

The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Archives, Library and Records Manager to join the existing Collection Services Team within the Collections, Learning and Research Department. Reporting to the Head of Collection Services the successful applicant will provide the management, planning and collections care for the nationally and internationally important archive, library and record collections across the Royal Armouries.

The successful candidate must have a proven archive background, be able to work flexibly, be highly organised and self‑motivated with a proven ability to work to tight deadlines. They must be an effective and professional communicator, able to engage with stakeholders and build relationships at all levels across the organisation.

Hours

36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some occasional weekends. The role will be mostly office based but with some possibilities for hybrid working.
